First, Idiot (the) were really good friends of ours, most of whom had graduated from Chico State and formed this band in the Bay Area. So Chas, the singer, gives us the words to this song and says something like, 'Write your own music for a version of this and we'll do the same.' So we do, and in fact I think John McKinley probably wrote the main chord progression (sorry John). Garry Henkel from Idiot (the) pressed these up, with their version on the flip, and in fact some were on green vinyl. An image of Terri Manning, Barbara's sister, appears on our side of the vinyl inside label as we forgot to hand in artwork for the label, but that was okay because everyone loved her." -LC |
